Adult Day Health Volunteers

How can you volunteer to help Adult Day Services?

Beautician
Provide hair care for both men and women in Adult Day Care centers.
Level of commitment: 1+ hours, 1 or more times per month
Frequency of assignment: Monday – Friday, flexible times

Pet Therapy
Volunteer to bring in a certified pet therapy animals to a group of 30 – 35 older and or disabled adults.
Level of commitment: 1+ hour, 1 or more times per month
Frequency of assignment: Monday – Friday, flexible times

Music Therapy
Volunteer to provide musical therapy for a group of 30 – 35 older and or disabled adults.
Level of commitment: 1+ hour, 1 or more times per month
Frequency of assignment: Monday – Friday, flexible times

Arts and Crafts Assistant
Volunteer to guide a group of 30 – 35 older and or disabled adults through arts and crafts projects. Volunteer would be responsible for providing materials for the project.

Yoga Instructor
Volunteer to provide simple yoga for a group of 30 – 35 older and or disabled adults.
Level of commitment: 6+ month
Frequency of assignment: 1+ hour, 1 or more times per month

Book Reader
Volunteer to read short stories or a book in installments to a group of 30 – 35 older and or disabled adults.
Level of commitment: 6+ month
Frequency of assignment: 1+ hour, 1 or more times per month
