Athens Area Village Receives Gift from Compassionate Care Hospice

ACCA and the Athens Area Village were excited to receive a gift for to sponsor two Village scholarships from Compassionate Care Hospice at the end of December.  Compassionate Care Hospice organized a garage sale in October and all of the proceeds will  go towards sponsoring the scholarships.  Several people were on hand for the presentation of the funds.  Pictured to the left are from L to R: Phil Rosenbaum, Compassionate Care Hospice Volunteer; Kate Lenover, Athens Area Village Coordinator; Jennie Deese, CEO of Athens Community Council on Aging; Mayor Nancy Denson; Melissa Fox, Compassionate Care Hospice RN; Carl Fox, Compassionate Care Hospice Volunteer; and Missy Debrezceni, Compassionate Care Hospice Community Liaison.  Thank you so much to Compassionate Care Hospice for organizing this event and for donating these scholarships to the Athens Area Village.
