Grandparents Raising Grandchildren

If you are raising a grandchild or another relative’s child, ACCA is here to help. For many relative caregivers the challenges may be new and unexpected.

Grandparents Raising GrandchildrenOur Grandparents Raising Grandchildren (GRG) resources include:

  • Support groups for caregivers
  • Case Managers that provide personalized assistance
  • Family activities
  • Parenting education and workshops
  • Emergency assistance with utilities and groceries

This program is open to non-parent caregivers living in Barrow, Clarke, Jackson, Madison, Oconee and Walton counties who are the full-time, primary caregivers of the child or children.

Monthly Support Groups are open to all relative caregivers in our community. Group discussion topics vary from month to month and may include informational materials and guest speakers.
