Fan Donation from the Professional Firefighters of Athens-Clarke County
ACCA thanks the Professional Firefighters of Athens-Clarke County for their recent donation of 50 fans. These fans will go to participants of ACCA programs who are in need of some cool air in this hot summer weather for which Georgia has always been known. Thank you Professional Firefighters of Athens-Clarke County for this kind donation!
The Winder/Barrow Community Theater is donating a percentage of the proceeds of their upcoming performance, “On Golden Pond” to ACCA, specifically the programs serving Barrow County. The dates of the performance are May 14-16th, 21st-23rd. The price is 12.50 per ticket at the door.

Athens Area Community Foundation
Athens Community Council on Aging received $1,500 to purchase kitchen equipment to impact 120 people in the Council’s Nutty For Nutrition program, a 6-week course providing low-income seniors access to healthy diet and cooking classes in collaboration with UGA's Cooperative Extension Office.
