Special or Ongoing Projects
Now that we have our beautiful garden, we want to do things in it! Help us think of activities to do. Intergenerational aspects, nutrition, health, wellness, gardening...all of the above are wanted.

Every year during the holiday season, at various locations around the city, items are collected to make presents for our participants. These presents are put together and wrapped nicely to be given out and we'll need your assistance doing this during the holiday season!
Help us clean our vansThe vans we use for transportation services can get dirty driving all of those miles! Help us by getting a group together to come clean our vans. This volunteer opportunity is ongoing and needed all the time. It only takes a little time to get those vans sparkling.
ACCA CommoditiesWe need help August 18th-19th with bagging and distribution of USDA surplus commodities (food-canned and dry goods). Call Sarah McKinney for more details: (706) 549-4850
Railroad DaysEvery year, ACCA holds its annual fundraiser, Railroad Days, during the spring. This event consists of two days worth of fun. Evening at the Station is a fun-filled night with music, raffles, and more. The Family Fun Day is filled with model trains, cake walks, a magician, jumpies, and is fun for all ages. We always need volunteers for these events, usually held in April.
