ACCA’s Center for Active Living logo received a Merit Award in the Logo/Letterhead Design. The Center for Active Living (formerly the Athens Senior Center) re-branded itself in the fall of last year to better represent its role in the community as a place of congregation, social activities, and a variety of fitness and wellness classes for older adults. KaDee Holt, Director of Marketing and Communications at ACCA designed the logo to represent this shift. “ACCA has made great strides to change their image and services to coincide with the active aging population and their needs within our community,” says Holt. She went on to say “We were excited to be a part of the program and even more honored to be chosen as a winner. ACCA is known across the state as a leader in aging services and now those changes are being recognized nationally.”
Nearly 1,000 entries were judged by a distinguished panel of mature market experts from across the United States for overall excellence of design, content, creativity and relevance to the senior market.
