The ACCA hosts our own “The Price is Right” game show

“Come on down!” Those three words repeated for decades by Bob Barker and more recently Drew Carey brought the daytime television watching to a whole new level. “The Price is Right” is a classic game show that airs daily on the television. It’s consumer-knowledge based questions, bright lights and energetic participants has captivated audiences for decades. The wide variety of games and contests all held the same basic challenge: guess the prices of every day retail items.

This week we brought our own “The Price is Right” game to the ACCA! Center for Active Living Plus and Bentley Adult Day Health clients filled the seats making for lively audience. Members were chosen at random to be picked as contestants. Prizes included but were not limited to: towels, fall home decor, a TV stand and even a new (Hot Wheels) car! Our very own Bob Barker led our clients through three games. We played the Race Game, Squeeze Play, Punch-A-Bunch and finished off with the Dice Game. Our contestants walked away with some excellent prizes and the audience had a chance to win more items from a raffle drawing. Our clients and staff had a great playing. “The Price is Right” was a huge success!
