We are thrilled you want to join ACCA as a Volunteer! To get started, there are a four “to-do’s”:
- Volunteer Registration Form, please complete in full and submit.
- Background Check, please print, fill out and sign, scan and return. Please Note: there is a $35 fee to process the background check. The fee can be paid online here or by cash or check in person.
- Volunteer Handbook, please review and complete pages 15-17
- Client Protection Practices Training; review the on-line training and complete a short quiz at the end.
Volunteer Registration Form
Let’s get started with completing the forms for volunteering. The Volunteer Registration form is two pages and must be completed in full. New this year, it can be submitted online! If you are going to print the form and hand write the responses, please write legibly. Also note that on the second page of the registration form, you will be initialing statements regarding confidentiality, conduct, receipt of Volunteer Handbook and a photo release – make sure you review the Volunteer Handbook before initialing the statements.
Please complete IN FULL the first two pages (sign and date the first page at the bottom, and complete second page in full). Scan and email these pages to Ellen Everitt, firstname.lastname@example.org. There is a $35.00 processing fee for this report and it can be paid by cash, check, or money order by mail or dropping off to the office during the hours of 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The Volunteer Handbook has been developed over the years to be an informative resource to go to when questions arise or if you are looking for insight on ACCA’s mission and vision statements, client confidentiality, code of conduct, insurance information, etc. Please note: You will be asked to acknowledge on the second page of the registration form that you have received/read the handbook.
