Senior Companion Program

The Senior Companion Program matches vetted volunteers, age 55 and up, with older adults and individuals with disabilities that may need assistance with daily tasks, and will benefit from regular visits. Senior Companion volunteers serve 5 to 20 hours each week in in private homes, independent living communities, and adult day centers.

Before enrolling in the program volunteers must clear comprehensive state and federal background checks, and complete orientation training. Volunteers also receive on going training and support through the program.
