2014 Ms. Senior Athens Nominees Announced

Athens Community Council on Aging is excited to announce the nominees for the 2014 Ms. Senior Athens.  On Tuesday, February 25 the nominees were hosted by Elijana Cosmetics in downtown Athens for some pampering and an orientation to the event.  Sarah McKinney, Director of Development and Volunteer Services at ACCA welcomed the ladies and then they each introduced themselves.  Ms. Fay Davis, the 2013 Ms. Senior Athens also told about her experience and her reign as Ms. Senior Athens.  Make plans to attend the 2014 Ms. Senior Athens on May 4 at the Athens Country Club… it is bound to be a sell out crowd.

The 2014 nominees are Eileen Summerville, Carolyn Turner, June Mazur, Carla Harp, Gloria Frankum, Cissy Moore, Ella Mack, Marilyn Appleby, Faye Miller, and Dee Jackson.  If you see one of these ladies, make sure to congratulate them.  We will be sending out more information about what great role models they are for living well and aging well as we move closer to the event.
