State Rep. Allen Peake Discusses Medical Cannabis at ACCA

ACCA was excited to welcome State Representative Allen Peake today to speak to it’s Parkinson’s Support group.  Representative Peake (State Representative – District 137, Republican) was an advocate for the passing of the recent bill legalizing medical cannabis.  He discussed the  potential benefits for Parkinson’s disease with the group and answered questions from them.

Thank you for making the trip to Athens and for taking the time to speak to our group.  The Parkinson’s Support group at ACCA meets the 4th Monday of each month from 2-3:00 pm.  Rep. Peake recently announced his candidacy for the Lt. Governor in the upcoming election.
