GA Department of Human Services Commissioner Visits ACCA

Georgia Department of Human Services Commissioner Keith Horton and Deputy Commissioner Renorta Heard spend this morning visiting ACCA.  They had an introduction and tour of the agency and were able to see one of our Mobile Food Pantries in action.  This mornings mobile food pantry will support 400 members of our community and over 10,000 pounds of food was distributed.   Commissioner Horton and Deputy Commissioner Heard then met with several of the clients of the Center for Active Living to hear first hand some of the concerns and issues they face as aging older adults.
