Delivering More Than Just a Meal – Kelly Allen

It has already been a little over a year since Kelly Allen began volunteering with Meals on Wheels.  She drives Route 14 every Monday and Wednesday.  In that short time, Kelly has become a part of her client’s lives.  One client recently stated, “Kelly is sweet and thoughtful.”  Kelly doesn’t just deliver the meals, she spends extra time talking with her clients and being their friend.  Kelly is not just a friend to the people who she delivers meals to, Kelly stated soon after she began the route, “I now feel like I have a purpose in life.”  Kelly, on behalf of Meals on Wheels staff and clients, Thank you!!!
