Make your steps count this year! Let’s fill the plates of the people in our community who need us. Join the March for Meals race to raise awareness and funds for hungry seniors in the Athens Area.
New this year: The race will begin and end at Creature Comforts Brewing Co. at 271 W. Hancock Ave, Athens, GA 30601.
Can’t make it to the race? Join the Virtual Race!
Your steps can still count. Register for our virtual race and receive your race t-shirt and bib. You can walk/run your March for Meals race anytime between March 1st and 26th. Don’t forget to post the pictures of your finish line using #MarchforMeals and #MFMAthens.
Why March for Meals?
Many people don’t know that 1 in 5 older adults in our community are at risk of hunger. our goal is to bring awareness and work to end Senior Hunger by 2020. Proceeds from March for Meals support ACCA’s Meals on Wheels program in serving over 1500 meals each week in both Clarke and Barrow Counties.
