37th Annual Harvest Festival
Last Thursday, October 13, Athens Community Council on Aging’s RSVP and Lyndon House partnered to hold the 37th annual Harvest Festival. Over 1600 children from the Northeast Georgia area learned arts from back in the day including butter churning, black-smithing, making corn husk dolls, soap making, knitting to name a few. The rain held out and everyone had a great time. Thanks to all of the schools that attended and thanks to all of the volunteers that made the Harvest Festival a success. We couldn’t do it without you!! Look for more pictures next week on our facebook page…
