ADH Loves Caregivers

Friday wraps up our week long celebration of National Adult Day Services week.  We’ve had an awesome week of activities and special guests, such as Kopp’s Kritters, a mobile petting zoo, Joe Loyal’s puppet ministry, along with special musical entertainment.  Today, we will end this year’s celebration with a cookout, honoring the family member’s and caregivers.

We have given special tribute to various individuals who make our Adult Day Services successful.  Today we want to say “Thank You” to the family members and caregivers, who give us the opportunity to provide care to their loved ones.  We recognize that 24/7 caregiving can be time consuming and extremely stressful for individuals.  We also realize that it is not a duty that everyone assumes.  It is a special person, with a  large heart, overwhelming patience, sense of grace, a strong voice which is used to advocate for loved ones, and a generous soul which provides care to the people they love.

Adult Day Services offers respite care to the family members providing care.  As you all leave your loved ones with ADH staff day to day, we offer them care and compassion in a family like environment.  Rest assured, we take care of them as is they are part of our family.
