Calling Caregivers…

Care Improvement Plus hosted a networking luncheon for caregivers on Wednesday, September 14 at ACCA.  It was in their series entitled “Staying Healthy Together” and those attending were able to discuss the challenges faced by those caring for chronically ill seniors and how they can help each other.  There were informative presentations by the Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia CareNet, and health screenings by GeorgiaCares.  HUGE thanks to Adam Butler and Care Improvement Plus and Connie Wilkes with Georgia CareNet for their participation.

ACCA hosts Alzheimer’s and other dementia support groups and luncheons monthly.  Our next event will be held on Monday, September 20 at noon at ACCA, 135 Hoyt Stree and on Tuesday, September 27 at noon at Barrow Regional Medical Center (third floor conference room).  If you have any questions, please call Mallory Lopp at 706-549-4850.
