Congratulations Shelby Lacy and ACCA

The Mayor’s Call to Service is an initiative to promote and strengthen our culture of service in Athens Clarke-County. Founded by ACC Mayor Nancy Denson, in partnership with Community Connection’s HandsOn Northeast Georgia. The project aims to encourage volunteerism within the Athens-Clarke County community.

Athens Community Council on Aging was excited to be chosen as the projects “Organization of the Week” and one of ACCA’s volunteers, Shelby Lacy, was chosen as the “Volunteer of the Week.”  We hope you can take the time to watch the video below of Mayor Denson interviewing and recognizing Lacy for the work she does at ACCA but also throughout the community.
