MOW Benefit Concert!

Musicians from Athens area high schools (and recent graduates) join forces to raise money for senior citizens during the holidays.  On December 16, 2016 from 6-10pm at the Foundry, six musicians/bands will perform original and cover music as well as holiday favorites.  All proceeds will benefit the Meals on Wheels program at The Athens Community Council on Aging.  The Meals on Wheels program fosters independent living by delivering nutritious food to older adults.

Performers include Connor Byers, Zenith Blue, Benjamin Simpson, Simone Zaccaria Jeffers, The Varsity Band, and the Voltures.  Music will range from singer song-writer to hip hop, to classic rock.   Each set will include one holiday song.  At the end of the night the audience will vote on their favorite tune.  The winner will be invited back to the Foundry to open for a national touring act in 2017.  This is an all-ages event.  Tickets are $10 individual, $25 for a family of four.
