TurkeyPalooza 2016!

“Thank you for this! With this help, I was able to share a beautiful Thanksgiving meal with my family!”

TurkeyPalooza is an annual event that partners ACCA and the Office of Service Learning’s Campus Kitchen at UGA in providing a full thanksgiving meal to food insecure older adults.

Thanks to your generous donations, we raised $8985, exceeding our goal of $6500 to provide 200 families and 190 individuals with everything they need to celebrate Thanksgiving. 

With your help we can gave these families and individuals a frozen turkey and a bag full of groceries – everything needed to prepare a delicious Thanksgiving feast for their families.  For those unable to prepare a meal, the Campus Kitchen at UGA prepared full Thanksgiving meals, complete with turkey and all the fixings that were then delivered by student and community volunteers.
