WOO-HOO! ACCA Party Buses Rolled Through Athens!

We are in the dog days of summer and it is hard to believe that it is August already. Our work at ACCA continues and we are so proud to have provided nearly 99,000 emergency food relief meals to over 1,900 seniors since March 16. Woo-Hoo!

We often email or yell “Woo-Hoo” when celebrating in the halls of the ACCA and we honestly believe the world is in need of more Woo-Hoo moments! We hope this blog will bring a Woo-Hoo smile to your face as well!

You see, we were really missing our clients and volunteers and they were missing us. So, we rounded up the party buses and made surprise visits around town! We also brought along some frozen treats to sweeten everyone’s day! This field trip was just what we all needed until we can be reunited when it is safe to do so.

We continue to be so proud of everything our staff and volunteers have accomplished in these few months to ensure that no senior is left behind. And, we thank you, our ACCA family, for helping us achieve so much. It means the world to us that we have such community support cheering us on.
